What an ad! The Triumph car ads have such grace and style to them. Beautiful!
This is a magazine print ad - from Sunset magazine - 1959
Mid-century modern graphic design - beautifully laid out
Measures 8.5 x 11 inches
in good original condition - not pristine but suitable for laminating or framing
I rescued this charming mid-century ad from a 1959 Sunset magazine - the magazine for Western Living - and
gave it a bit of a trim of rusty staple marks and yellowed edges - all set for you to mount, frame, use in your crafting or throw in an acrylic frame or magnet back and proudly display on your fridge, retro den wall or wherever you want to show off your best stuff!
It will be shipped out flat between cardboard for safe transit.
Collect a whole group as I am happy to combine shipping! Shipping the first one is expensive but combine orders because #2-100 is no additional shipping charge!
A tiny little bit about why you are seeing this listing from me:
I am crazy about old ads and graphic design. My store is a creative outlet for me. It allows me to roam the Bay Area in search of the rarest and most interesting books and magazines that I can possibly find and salvage. I rescue any ads, books and vintage magazines that appeal to me, regardless of condition. That being said, I am probably not the store for the mint condition crowd - as I often trim away blemishes, rips, browning edges and other ugly scars of a long magazine life. Sometimes I cut wacky shapes to save an ad from being unloved and trashed. While I often leave too little edge for standard matting, I feel the buyer is, like me, wanting a genuine old ad (or many) to have fun with - ready to craft your own collage or throw in an acrylic frame or magnet back and slap on the fridge or wall with no formal fuss. I definitely will always indicate any real damage or noticeable blemish, but otherwise be sure and mouse over the photos to see condition.
