Superb, Extreme-Rarity 1804 Draped Bust Eagle Graded PCGS MS61 designated as Crosslet 4 Variety. The 1804 Draped Bust is one of the rarest Draped Busts in the series with only 80 to 100 coins known from an original mintage of 3,757 pieces. This particular specimen is of the finer examples, graded in mint state condition, with full detail and remaining original luster. Only a few coins of this date have surfaced across the auction block, none of which have been in the last decade for a PCGS MS61.
PCGS Population 8 in MS61, with 3 finer.
Comparable sale in 2008 at Stacks Huskey Collection Lot #2103 sold for 6,500 in PCGS MS61.
