I recently acquired a collection in Omaha from a 92 year old lady whose husband had collected cans from 1953 until his death in 1973. For many years the cans were kept on shelves still full, until they began to leak, at that time the drained them all opening most from the bottom. The wife kept the cans for nearly 50 years in their basement bar as a reminder of her husband, who died young in his 40’s and the good times they had collecting them and having relatives mail them to add to the collection. As luck would have it, I happened to go to Junior High with their daughter and reconnected at a reunion where I learned of the collection. I’m proud to offer these cans now so they can continue to be enjoyed for many years to come.
