Description
Telefunken OPUS 7 Console Radio - Works + Turntable + Extras - Local Pickup north of Seattle in Lynnwood. Condition is "Used". Please see the photos. This console dates to 1956 or 1957. This radio is working. Has AM, FM and Shortwave bands plus an input/output for a tape recorder. The 3 speed record player also works fine. Needle flips between LP & 78. Some of the buttons, tone conrol knobs and tuning are scratchy when adjusted. The eye tube is not glowing very brightly but it does fluctuate with AM tuning, allowing you to see when a station is peaked up. It receives stations on am and fm. There is an internal rotary AM antenna and an internal dipole for FM. Both seem to be working properly. it really sounds wonderful. Rich and warm. I do not have a shortwave antenna hooked up. I would think that band would work with an antenna hooked up. Maybe receive wwv. The tubes I were able to see are telefunken brand. Probably original. The tube compliment includes ECC 85, ECH 81, EF 89 (2), EABC 80, EL 84 (2), EC 92.This comes with some original extra items including the original cardboard turntable platter cover. The original 45 adapter with box and instruction sheet. A small envelope with a replacement connector, some record cleaner and a record brush.
This is being sold as is with no warrenty or returns. Pick up in Lynnwood WA.
