ORIGINAL 1920s OLD TRADE - ADVERTISING CARD
THE MINT
The Royal Mint was built
on Tower Hill in 1810-12 by
Sir Robert Smirke and haa
since been considerably
extended. It succeeded
the old Naval Victualling
Office which was built in
1562. In the Mint are
struck gold, silver and
bronze coins current in
the U.K., coins for various
colonies, medals, seals, etc.
