    Description

    Vintage Zenith Trans-Oceanic H500 Wavemagnet short wave radio, produced from 1951-53. The H500 had an additional shortwave band and was the first model to use the new miniature tubes with had been developed as part of the war effort. The bezel and magnet were redesigned from the G500 and the 2-4MHz band was added for a total of 7 bands. I got this radio from a collector/restorer who had had it working and then stored it. When he brought it back out it wasn't working. It's a great looking radio, awesome for display! It is in good used condition with some minor surface wear. All the knobs & push buttons work/move as they should. It measures just over 17" wide, 10-3/4" tall, and 7-3/4" deep. Please see scans.
